Giants Alive in NFC Playoff Chase After Win Over Packers
The New York Giants secured a thrilling 24-22 victory over the Green Bay Packers on Monday night, marking their first win of the season in prime time and putting them in the postseason chase. With a current record of 5-8, the Giants are simply one game behind the numerous teams competing with a 6-7 record, keeping them somewhat in the race. Defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence made his return after missing his first game of the season, alternating series due to a strained hamstring, however, he later combined with Azeez Ojulari on a fourth-quarter sack. Additionally, running back Matt Breida made a significant contribution in the third quarter with a 75-yard drive that concluded with a touchdown pass to Isaiah Hodgins. The Giants are eager to continue proving themselves as they aim for a spot in the playoffs.
