In an exciting day for Oregon Football, the team added two key commitments to their 2025 recruiting class. Five-star running back Jordon Davison and four-star defensive lineman Josiah Sharma both pledged to join the Ducks. Standing at 6-5 and 295 pounds, Sharma chose Oregon over top programs like Alabama, Texas, and Michigan. He is ranked No. 83 nationally and No. 7 among defensive linemen by On3 Recruits.
Described as a “mammoth two-way lineman” by recruiting analysts, Sharma has seen his stock rise rapidly in recent months with interest from schools across the country. Known for his size, strength, and motor, he still has room to grow and improve his skills. Despite his youth, having played his junior year at just 15 years old, Sharma has already made a strong impression on coaches and scouts.
Sharma visited Eugene in June after trips to Austin and Tuscaloosa earlier in the month. With his commitment, Oregon now has a total of 12 commitments for their 2025 class, including a mix of three-star, four-star, and five-star prospects. The Ducks currently boast the No. 13 recruiting class in the nation, according to 247 Sports Composite Rankings.
