Governor Tina Kotek has announced several new appointments to key positions in various state agencies and commissions. Marian Hammond also joined the Oregon Health and Education Collaborative as deputy director, while Dr. Laurie Chesley announced her retirement as president of Central Oregon Community College in 2025.
Appointments have been made to explanatory statement committees for ballot measures likely to be voted on in the upcoming General Election, with the committees consisting of members appointed by chief petitioners and the Secretary of State’s Office.
