Dakorien Moore, the No. 1 wide receiver in the Class of 2025, has committed to Oregon over top programs like Texas, Ohio State, and LSU. Moore, who plays at Duncanville High School in Texas, is the fifth top-100 player and third five-star prospect in Oregon’s 2025 class. With this commitment, the Ducks have moved up to the fifth spot in the national rankings.
Moore had initially committed to LSU last August but reopened his recruitment in May, visiting all four of his finalists before ultimately choosing Oregon. His commitment adds another elite talent to an already impressive recruiting class for the Ducks, who also have commitments from five-star receiver Dallas Wilson and four-star receivers Cooper Perry and Isaiah Mozee.
Following a successful run in recruiting, expectations are high for Oregon this upcoming season, especially with quarterback Dillon Gabriel leading the team. Head coach Dan Lanning is assembling a talented group of players, including Moore’s likely future quarterback Dante Moore, setting the Ducks up for success in 2025.
Overall, Moore’s commitment to Oregon is a significant boost for the program and reinforces the Ducks’ position as a powerhouse in college football recruiting. With an influx of top-tier talent, Oregon looks poised for continued success in the years to come.
