Former Oregon prep star Drew Carter transfers from UC Davis to Oregon Ducks

Former Tigard High School standout and two-sport athlete, Drew Carter, is making his way back to Oregon. After stints at Colorado and UC Davis, Carter has announced his transfer to the Oregon men’s basketball program. The 6-foot-3 guard recently completed a season with UC Davis, playing only 22 minutes over nine games and averaging 1.2 points per game. With his focus now solely on basketball, Carter is poised to make an impact for the Ducks.

During his time at Tigard High School, Carter excelled in both football and basketball. As a quarterback, he was rated as a three-star player and was ranked as the No. 5 player in Oregon and the No. 28 dual-threat quarterback nationally. On the basketball court, he averaged an impressive 25 points per game as a junior, earning him the title of the No. 5 player in Oregon.

Unfortunately, Carter’s senior season in 2020 was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, he is eager to make his mark with the Oregon Ducks and showcase his skills on the basketball court. With his determination and athletic prowess, Carter is sure to be a valuable asset to the team.
