The University of Oregon’s football team is gearing up for a successful season with right tackle Ajani Cornelius leading the charge. Cornelius was recently named to the Pro Football Focus’s Way-too-early 2024 All-America Team after an impressive performance in his first season with the Ducks. Last season, Cornelius led one of the nation’s most dominant offensive lines, allowing just five sacks and averaging six yards per carry. With an 85.3 pass-blocking grade, he proved himself to be one of the top tackles in both the nation and the Pac-12 conference. Throughout the offseason, Cornelius has been working on getting stronger and maintaining his athleticism to further solidify his performance on the field. Prior to joining Oregon, he earned First-Team All-Colonial Athletic Association honors at Rhode Island, showcasing his talent from the start of his college career. With his size, athleticism, and experience, Cornelius is expected to play a crucial role in the Ducks’ pursuit of a Big Ten title and a national championship in the upcoming season. As Oregon fans eagerly anticipate the team’s success, all eyes will be on Cornelius as he looks to lead the offensive line to even greater heights.
