Event Details: Route, Festival Lineup, and Parking Locations

Thousands of people are expected to celebrate at the Rochester Pride Parade today, with a new route down South Avenue instead of the usual Park Avenue. The switch is made to accommodate the record-breaking crowds of over 15,000 attendees and 200 groups marching at the 2023 Pride Parade and Festival. The festival will feature a musical and drag lineup, vendors, and various activities. The 2024 Pride Parade will start at 11 a.m. at South Avenue and Science Parkway and move north along South Avenue to Beikirch Park in Highland Park, where the festival will take place with games, vendors, food trucks, and live music until 6 p.m. Tickets for the festival are $5 for general admission, free for kids 12 and under, and $50 for VIP tickets.

Nina Sky will headline the festival with other musical acts and drag performances planned for the day. The theme for this year’s event is Pride Galaxy, so attendees are encouraged to dress accordingly. Parking options include paid lots at the Al Sigl Center and a free lot at the Lilac Adventure Zone for individuals with disabilities. A shuttle will be available for transportation between Highland Avenue and Science Parkway. Rochester’s Pride celebrations date back to a sit-in at Genesee Valley Park in 1971 and have evolved into a month-long series of events, culminating in the annual Pride Parade and Festival.
