Indra Group strengthens corporate structure in preparation for expansion as a global Defense and Technology corporation


Indra Group is making significant strides in achieving its strategic goals outlined in its Leading the Future plan. The Spanish multinational company is strengthening its organization to become a leader in defense, aerospace, and advanced digital technologies, with a strong presence in Europe and globally.

As of September 1, Miguel Forteza will join Indra as the Chief Financial Officer. With experience in financial management, investments, and strategic planning, Forteza will play a key role in the company’s leadership team. His appointment comes as part of a broader restructuring of Indra’s international organization, with regional clusters now being established to enhance the company’s global strategy.

Pedro Rodríguez Veiga will lead the Latin America and Southern Europe cluster, while Luis Permuy will head the Middle East region. Jacinto Monge will oversee the United States, United Kingdom, and Northern Europe cluster. Meanwhile, José Luis Gascó will coordinate the rest of the world in an export model.

Indra Group, which includes companies like Indra and Minsait, aims to promote technological advancement and innovation in defense, air traffic, and digital transformation. With a focus on sustainability and social responsibility, the company is committed to addressing current and future challenges.

At the end of the fiscal year 2023, Indra Group reported revenues of 4,343 million euros and employed over 57,000 people. With a presence in 46 countries and commercial operations in over 140 countries, Indra is well-positioned to lead in the defense, aerospace, and digital technology sectors.
