A brush fire named the Edgehill Fire started in San Bernardino County, destroying several homes. The fire began on Monday afternoon and quickly spread due to high temperatures. Many structures were threatened, and some were burned, but the exact number is unknown. Evacuation orders were issued for parts of the county. The fire grew to 100 acres but was 75% contained by Monday evening. Sadly, several homes were destroyed and three dogs died in the blaze. One person was briefly taken into custody in connection with the fire but was later released. The cause of the fire is still unknown at this time.
