Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah has said that the group’s attack on Israel was delayed to allow for Gaza ceasefire talks. However, recent negotiations in Cairo have not resulted in an agreement, with Hamas rejecting new Israeli conditions. Despite this, talks are set to continue at lower levels in the coming days. Netanyahu has maintained that the conflict in Gaza will persist until Hamas is completely eliminated, regardless of any ceasefire agreements.
