Burglary suspect, who went viral for crying in video after judge remembered him from school, returns to jail

Arthur Nathaniel Booth, who went viral in 2015 for breaking down in tears in court when recognized by a former classmate judge, is back in jail for a string of crimes in Miami. The 58-year-old suspect was arrested for pretending to be a water inspector or plumber to steal jewelry and gold chains from victims. One victim, an 85-year-old man, had his sentimental gold chain stolen by Booth. Police believe Booth may be connected to other incidents and stated that he belongs behind bars. Nearly 10 years ago, he appeared in front of Judge Mindy Glazer for a previous burglary and police pursuit, where she expressed disappointment in seeing him in court. She urged him to change his ways and lead a lawful life. Booth now faces charges including robbery, burglary, home invasion, and robbery without a weapon. He has not yet obtained legal representation.
