Ex-MLB pitcher’s daughter, Brenna Swindell, found safe in Oregon

Brenna Swindell, the daughter of former MLB pitcher Greg Swindell, was found safe in Oregon after being reported missing by her family in Austin. The 29-year-old mother of three was found with her ex-boyfriend, Morgan Guidry, in her car at 1 a.m. on Tuesday in Klamath Falls. Guidry was arrested on charges of assaulting and strangling Brenna, with the incident taking place on July 7 and reported on August 20.

The search for Brenna began after a welfare check at her apartment did not locate her or her car. Her father, Greg Swindell, reported her missing on Sunday, leading to a multi-state search effort. The situation was resolved when Brenna was discovered in Oregon, bringing relief to her family.

Greg Swindell is a well-known former MLB pitcher who played for teams like the Cleveland Indians, Houston Astros, and Arizona Diamondbacks. He was a one-time All-Star and World Series winner. Swindell’s daughter’s disappearance prompted an outpouring of support from friends, family, and authorities, with Travis County Sheriff Sally Hernandez expressing gratitude for the efforts made to find Brenna.

Law enforcement tracked Brenna’s white 2022 Kia Carnival to Colorado before locating her in Oregon. The circumstances surrounding her disappearance and discovery are still being investigated by authorities. Both Greg Swindell and Sheriff Hernandez have expressed their thanks to everyone involved in the search for Brenna.
