The Oregon Ducks are gearing up for their first season in the Big Ten conference with a fresh new look. The team has unveiled their uniform combinations for their upcoming game against the Idaho Vandals, showcasing the ‘Generation O’ Gang Green uniforms. Fans are encouraged to ‘Stripe out Autzen’ by wearing green or yellow based on their section. The new uniforms pay homage to the team’s history, with details like “Gang Green” stitched in the collar and a Big Ten patch on the front. These innovative uniforms were developed with player input through the newly formed Uniform Committee, led by longtime football equipment administrator Kenny Farr.
The Ducks have also released other uniform combinations for the 2024 season, including the all-black ‘Fly Era’ uniforms and the throwback ‘Mighty Oregon’ uniforms honoring the 1997 team. The team is looking to extend their nonconference home winning streak to 33 games, the longest in the nation, as they kick off their season against the Idaho Vandals on Saturday at Autzen Stadium. The game marks transfer quarterback Dillon Gabriel’s first game as a Duck, and fans are excited to see what this new era of Oregon football will bring.
