Princess Kate has made her first public appearance since completing chemotherapy and announced that she would be returning to some public duties. She was seen attending a Sunday service at Crathie Kirk in Scotland, alongside Prince William, King Charles III, and Queen Camilla. In a video message released earlier, Kate mentioned that she had completed treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer, but her path to healing is long. Despite her attendance at the church service, royal contributor Katie Nicholl warns that the public may not be seeing much more of the princess as her priority is staying cancer-free. Kate recently held an Early Years meeting at Windsor Castle as part of her role as Joint Patron of The Royal Foundation, a philanthropic vehicle supporting various community projects. Kate has made previous public appearances, such as Trooping the Colour and the Wimbledon men’s final, amidst the absence of senior royals like King Charles who was also undergoing cancer treatment at the time. With the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the departure of Prince Harry and Meghan, and Prince Andrew stepping down from front-line duties, there has been a shortage of senior royals available to carry out official duties. Princess Kate is gradually returning to public life while prioritizing her health and cancer recovery.
