Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in the US to present a “victory plan” to end the conflict with Russia. He is set to meet with President Joe Biden, as well as Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, and attend UN sessions. Zelenskyy is urging his partners for support in achieving peace. His visit comes after intense fighting, with Kyiv pressing the west to allow the use of long-range weapons on Russia. He visited a munitions factory in Pennsylvania and thanked the US for their support, calling for more aid. Discussions are ongoing with the UK for the use of Storm Shadow missiles on Russia. Fake news websites registered in the UK are spreading disinformation about western companies in Ukraine, prompting calls for transparency laws. Meanwhile, Russia launched new strikes in Kharkiv, injuring at least 21 people, and a Ukrainian drone killed a firefighter in the Luhansk region. The situation remains tense as Zelenskyy seeks international support for peace in Ukraine.
