Darnold had his worst performance of the season by not throwing any touchdowns and completing only 29 out of 54 passes. However, the Vikings defense held the Jets offense to just 3.6 yards per play and sacked Rodgers three times. The win improved the Vikings to 5-0, while the Jets fell to 2-3. Darnold’s struggles were mitigated by the strong defensive performance, allowing the Vikings to secure the victory and head into their bye week with an undefeated record.
