Taylor Swift had a unique connection to the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the New Orleans Saints on Monday night. Khalen Saunders, a defensive tackle for the Saints, is the brother of Kameron Saunders, who is a backup dancer for Swift. Swift was in attendance at the game and had previously performed in London with Kameron and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce as dancers on stage during her Eras Tour. Interestingly, Khalen Saunders intercepted Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the third quarter shortly after delivering a big hit to Kelce on the field. This interception was Khalen’s second of his career and he returned the ball to the New Orleans 35-yard line. When asked whom his brother would be rooting for, Khalen humorously noted that Swift is his brother’s boss but he was there first. Khalen, who played for the Chiefs for four seasons and won two Super Bowls with the team before joining the Saints in 2022, was drafted by Kansas City in the third round in 2019. The unique connections between the players on the field and Swift added an interesting storyline to the game.
