Oregon State Commitments Shine in High School Performances
Last weekend proved to be another stellar outing for Oregon State commitments in high school football. Ti’a, a standout quarterback, completed an impressive 17-of-19 passing attempts for 328 yards and four touchdowns against Las Lomas. With the season winding down, Ti’a boasts a remarkable completion percentage of 77.2%, throwing for 3,367 yards and 29 touchdowns against just three interceptions.
In contrast, fellow Beaver commit Rose faced challenges in a playoff match, completing 14-of-29 passes for 131 yards and a touchdown in a 47-13 defeat to Clovis East, which ended Clovis’s season. Despite the loss, he finished with a solid 64.1% completion rate, totaling 2,729 yards and 26 touchdowns this year.
Craig, another Oregon State prospect, didn’t have stat updates from Liberty’s 49-3 loss to Bishop Gorman but made his mark this season with 33 tackles, including three for loss, four pass deflections, and one interception. Similarly, Ioane tallied 29 tackles, including 5.5 for loss and two sacks.
Offensively, Glasper concluded his season with an impressive 42 receptions for 841 yards and eight touchdowns, alongside 104 carries for 798 yards and 15 rushing touchdowns. Meanwhile, Myers contributed defensively with one tackle and a quarterback hurry in Cardinal Newman’s 20-7 playoff win.
Walker and Lewisville faced a tough end to their season in a 17-3 loss to Allen, while Knapp recorded nine tackles in a 35-14 defeat to Pittsburgh, wrapping up a season with 65 tackles and 12 sacks.
As Oregon State looks forward to the next recruiting class, these impressive performances highlight the talent and potential of their future stars.
