The Oregon Ducks continue to dominate in both football and men’s basketball this fall, with an undefeated basketball team and the No. 1 football team in the nation. Head coaches Dan Lanning and Dana Altman have been relentless in their recruiting efforts, recently landing a commitment from two-sport athlete Kendre Harrison, the No. 1 tight end in the class of 2026.
Despite offers from elite programs like Auburn and Michigan, Harrison chose Oregon due to their recent success across both sports. He has experience playing on both sides of the line of scrimmage in high school, showcasing his versatility and athletic ability. As a freshman, Harrison averaged an impressive 21.5 points and 15.1 rebounds on the basketball court.
Oregon already has a successful two-sport athlete in Bryce Boettcher, who plays football and baseball for the Ducks. Boettcher has been a defensive standout for the football team and made key contributions to the baseball team during their postseason run in 2024.
With the addition of Harrison, Oregon’s athletic program continues to attract top talent and build on its strong reputation for excellence. Fans can expect to see even more success from the Ducks as they gear up for the rest of the season.
