Press Release: Oregon Humane Society Offers 50% Off Adoption Fees for December
PORTLAND, Ore. – The Oregon Humane Society (OHS) is excited to announce a special promotion for December, reducing adoption fees for pets aged one year and older by 50%. This initiative aims to encourage more families to welcome a pet into their homes during the holiday season.
All adoptions through OHS come with a suite of essential services that include up-to-date vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, a microchip for identification, and a certificate for a free health exam at a participating veterinarian. OHS is committed to ensuring that each pet finds a loving home while being well-equipped for their new life.
Laura Klink, OHS Public Information Officer, emphasizes the joy and fulfillment that comes from adopting a pet. “Giving a home to a pet in need is one of the best ways to bring joy into your life,” Klink stated. “Our goal is for as many pets as possible to start 2025 in a new home.”
The adoption promotion is available at both the Portland and Salem OHS campuses, which are open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. This initiative not only highlights the importance of pet adoption but also aims to provide a brighter future for pets in the community.
For further details on available animals and the adoption process, interested individuals can visit the OHS website at oregonhumane.org. This December is the perfect time to adopt and make a difference in the life of a deserving pet.
