The USC Men’s Basketball team is set to hit the road as they prepare to face off against the University of Oregon in their final three games of the regular season. The Trojans recently faced Ohio State and despite a comeback effort, ultimately fell short in an 87-82 loss. Wesley Yates III led the scoring for the Trojans with 27 points, supported by Chibuzo Agbo, Desmond Claude, and Rashaun Agee in double digits.
The Oregon Ducks, on the other hand, are coming into Saturday’s game on a four-game winning streak and are currently sitting in eighth place in the Big Ten standings. They have been a strong force off the bench and have excelled in scoring over 80 points in a game. The Ducks are known for their three-point shooting abilities and solid defense, led by senior center Nate Bittle and sophomore guard Jackson Shelstad.
The Trojans have been successful in the paint, averaging 51.1 percent of their shots from that area and shooting at 58.2 percent overall. When it comes to shooting on the road, Wesley Yates III, Saint Thomas, and Desmond Claude have shown better percentages compared to their home games. The upcoming game between USC and Oregon is set to take place on Saturday, March 1, at 1 p.m. and will be broadcasted on the Big Ten Network for those unable to attend in person.
