The Great British Bake Off returns with a special celebrity edition for the charity Stand Up To Cancer, featuring famous faces competing in traditional bake off rounds. Hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding along with judges Paul Hollywood and new addition Caroline Waldegrave OBE will crown one celebrity Star Baker each episode. The series will air on Channel 4 starting on Sunday March 16 at 7:40pm.
The first episode will feature husband and wife podcasters Chris and Rosie Ramsey and sibling TV presenters Scarlette and Stuart Douglas competing independently in classic bake off challenges. The celebrities will attempt to recreate their career highlights in cake form for their Showstopper bake.
The stars who will be competing in the baking tent include broadcasters, comedians, actors, writers, and TV presenters, all hoping to raise money and awareness for the charity. The Ramseys expressed their excitement to be part of the show and help advance cancer treatment.
Viewers can expect a mix of humor, talent, and competitive spirit as the celebrities test their baking skills for a good cause. Catch the special series on Channel 4 and Channel4.com for a chance to see your favorite stars showcase their baking prowess.
