The son of a California woman, Diana Truschke, is suing Trump International Hotels for alleged negligence leading to her death. Trushke was in her 70s when she was struck by a revolving door at Trump Hotel Las Vegas, causing her to fall and sustain severe injuries. She later died due to complications from her injuries. The lawsuit claims the door was not in compliance with regulations and that the hotel should have been aware of its dangerous state. Truschke, a real estate agent, was a patron of the hotel at the time of the incident. The lawsuit, filed by her son who is also the administrator of her estate, seeks damages for medical and funeral expenses, as well as pain and suffering. The Trump Organization, the corporate parent of Trump Hotels, has not responded to requests for comment. The lawsuit was filed in Clark County, Nevada civil court in March.
