Federal Judge Rules Against Air Force in Environmental Case Involving Pollutants in Oregon Waters
A federal judge has ruled that an environmental group has sufficiently established a likelihood that the Air Force could pollute federal waters during training exercises in eastern Oregon. Magistrate Judge Andrew Hallman, in a recent decision, recommended that the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon deny the Air Force’s motion to dismiss a lawsuit filed by the Oregon Natural Desert Association (ONDA) under the Clean Water Act.
