Jared Curtis Recommits to Georgia, Boosting Bulldogs’ 2026 Recruiting Class
In a significant move for Georgia’s football program, Jared Curtis, the top-ranked quarterback recruit for the 2026 class, has recommitted to the Bulldogs. Curtis, who initially pledged to Georgia in March 2024 before decommitting last October, has solidified his commitment once again. His return is particularly notable as he would be the highest-rated quarterback to join Georgia from high school since Justin Fields, who was ranked No. 2 overall in the 2018 recruiting class.
Georgia has demonstrated consistent success in securing quarterback talent in recent years. This includes commitments from four-star prospects Ryan Montgomery and Ryan Puglisi, set to contribute to the Bulldogs’ depth chart this fall. Curtis’ commitment has also propelled Georgia’s recruiting class nine spots up to No. 17, showcasing the potential impact of his addition.
