The gun charge is classified as a second-degree felony, while the possession of synthetic marijuana is a third-degree felony. The marijuana possession and the charge of resisting arrest without violence are misdemeanors.
Johnson’s attorney, Tim Taylor, announced that his client has entered not guilty pleas to all charges, with further statements expected to be released. Coach Billy Napier acknowledged the situation, stating the program is monitoring the legal processes and cooperating with investigations.
