PRINEVILLE, Ore. — A helicopter crash near Prineville Airport on Saturday has resulted in the death of one individual, as confirmed by Prineville Police on Monday. The victim, an 80-year-old man identified as the pilot, succumbed to his injuries, while a 46-year-old passenger survived but sustained major injuries. To honor the families involved, authorities have declined to release the names of those affected.
