ACI Airports Council International (ACI) World, in partnership with Amadeus, recently announced the winners of the 2024 Technology Innovation Awards during the ACI Airports Innovate event held in Rome. These awards celebrate airport technology initiatives that are shaping the future of air transport, enhancing passenger experiences, and driving operational efficiency.
The winners of the awards include Dallas Love Field Airport for their 3D LED Holographic Signage Fan Displays, which revolutionize the passenger experience with dynamic displays, Toronto Pearson International Airport for their AI-Powered Turnaround Operations Optimization, and Emanuele Calà from Aeroporti di Roma for his leadership in implementing technological advancements.
Additionally, Gerald R. Ford International Airport was recognized for the Ford Launchpad for Innovative Technologies and Entrepreneurship (FLITE), which supports new startups and integrates emerging technologies to enhance the airport experience.
The Technology Innovation Awards program focuses on solutions that improve passenger journeys, streamline operations, and introduce new technologies that benefit airport employees and stakeholders.
